Revisiting WFE

Hello Ladies! We are truly blessed to have so many new-comers yesterday! We hope that you will enjoy our humble little blog.

One of my fellow Robsessors said that you need to see the film Water For Elephants once in the theater. Once for every lead character that is! Well, being the good fan girl that I am I had been there done that. But what’s a girl to do when she hears that it’s playing at her local theater for $3.00?! Recount the lead characters and call her local Rob mate to make a day of it, of course!!! So because I’m still swooning after that last and final time in the theater, I think we need to relive some of my favorite Robowski moments (and hopefully some of yours too!). And what better way to do that than with some gorgeous gifs.

The eyes with that shirt...GAH!!!

Duhrty Boy

And I’m sure we all wish this scene was a little longer…

Even better the 4th time (did i say that out loud?!)

This one is after my favorite Rob scene of all time! Love a man that can wear clown make-up, a dressing gown and tassels!

Hope you all enjoyed that trip down memory lane!

What was/is your favorite WFE moment? I also love the ones with Rosie’s trunk in certain places *wink, wink*

Thanks to Melbie Toast and Robsten Dreams  for these gifs!

Oh dear LORD how I love WFE! Went to see it with Mum and we both cried! Sadly only seen it once #badfangirl BUT when the DVD comes out…well, you can guess – I’ll wear the CRAP outta that disc! XD
*Sigh* Oh, Rob…that scene IS longer, you know….if you slow it down and put Barry White music to it…..just me? OK *Slinks away*
    Great post Mate *giggle*!

  2. How is this possible? My first time here and my comment is first? Good sign I think…

I saw the movie three times. So I guess thats for the top three human stars of the movie. I hope that counts for something.

My favorite scene is the first gif actually, that whole scene with Him in the blue shirt and tall boots. *fanning self* His laugh and
smile, and Rosie tries to get “fresh” with Him. Can’t blame her for trying to do what we all want to do, right?!?!

    • Damn, my comment is in moderation… Oh well, not first, but close.

3 times is great but something about that last time…amazing! Be sure to check out your discount theaters 😉

Hi Katiebirdie…so nice to see you here! LOL…I’ve seen WFE 3 times too.

Geez there were so many great scenes in that movie. A Dirty Jacob is very HAWT. He just seems so Ultra Masculine in this movie, but damn…the way he looked at Marlena…you could just see his love, lust, adoration for her.

HE looked at her sometimes like he wanted to Eat her…*LMAO…no pun or reference to twilight either*…I just mean he looked at her with such passion, and longing…like she was his whole damn world. I so loved seeing that, and the bedroom scene in the hotel! Very FuckHawt!! I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him….his back, his ass, those hands.*I could feel goosebumps all over my body watching that scene*.

I could easily see this movie, yet again and again. Can’t wait for it to come out on blue ray!

  3. Oh the tassels. I so wanted to be the one to have put them on….or take them off.

I want to thank Robsfan-tasy for for being so kind as to invite all of us RAoR h00rs to hang out here. What a day to check it out! I thought Rob was the definition of perfection in WFE. I’ve seen the movie four times and am impatiently awaiting its arrival at my local discount theater, where I’m sure I’ll be spending most of my time reliving the my favorite moments.

Here’s a few of my favorites in no particular order:

The scene where he’s walking along the tracks with his suitcase. I love the depth of that scene. You really feel his loneliness, his despair and confusion. Then he hears the train whistle. It wakes him up and gives him a direction.

When he sees the animals for the first time. Jacob is a warm, loving and pure soul and you can really feel it with the animals. I think there was a lot of the real Rob in that scene.

The sh*t shoveling scene. Rob and manual labor. *thud* Dirty Rob, sweaty Rob… *double thud*

I loved it when he sees Rosie for the first time. His eyes just light up like a fat kid locked in a bakery. She spits the water on him and he giggles. OMG!

SEX scene. That scene should have been at least a minute longer. I felt cheated. I loved it because it was Rob in a FREAKIN’ sex scene but still…

After he gets beat up at the hotel, hops back on the train and finds Camel and Kinko gone. The emotions were so strong. When he picks up Kinko’s knife and it scrapes along the floor… WOW! The look of hatred and determination on his face was mesmerizing and scary.

At the end when older Jacob watches Marlena ride the horse in their yard with the kids and Rosie in the background was genius. The look of pure loves on Jacob’s face was beautiful.

I loved this movie and there was very little I could find fault with. The casting, music, sets, costumes, the cinematography… everything was perfect.

In honor of today’s post I’m changing my wallpaper from Cosmopolis back to Rob and Rosie napping in the train car!

    • dazzledbyrp

Ditto, ditto, ditto and ditto. He did a terrific and moving (and HOT) job in this movie. I had the napping scene up as my wallpaper for months. (Right now it’s “Arms Breaking Headboard”!) I also loved the black and white shots that they added at the end. Such a perfect ending to show the “happily ever after”.

    • Nicole

Christa you summed it up beautifully!

I so loved how he adored the animals. The passion and anger that rolled off of him when he saw Rosie after she had been beat with the bull-stick and then he and Marlena stayed up that night tending to her to get her healed…I just loved that.

His comments about animals and how he loves them and working with them in real life are so refreshing to hear too.

    • robsfuturemate

Welcome Christa! And yes, you said it perfectly!! He was all around wonderful in this film.

  5. I think you left a little bit off the end of your sentence, I think you meant -Love a man that can wear clown make-up, a dressing gown and tassels and still look like sex on legs!

You can’t blame Rosie for her mooching, she is a girl after all. She was probably humming Barry White to herself while her trunk got busy.

  6. themissmod

LMAO Cared!!! Humming Barry White – weren’t we all doing that in the cinema, quietly to ourselves….in our heads because people thought you were crazy….and so did your Mum?!!! *Whistles* do do do do doooo…

  7. haystackhair

Hi ladies!!!I’m here! All these gifs are FTMFW!!! I saw WFE 3 times in the theater and it never got old. Each person I went with loved the movie and Rob! And of course my fav moment is when Rosie’s trunk starts wandering south and Robowski says “where are you going”. Resistance is futile, no matter what species the female belongs to!!!

  8. dazzledbyrp

Yes, Mate (now THAT’S going to take some getting used to!), the 4th time was magical. Something about those gorgeous blue eyes that I hadn’t focused on the first 3 times. Yum, yum, yum. Glad I could be your “plus 1” for one last time of seeing the Robowski on the big screen. I will forever be jealous of Rosie and how she gets to feel Rob up every chance she gets.

Great post. FLOVED the gifs. It was hard to get past gif #3 though – I did pause there for a minute or three or four…..

    • robsfuturemate

You can always be my plus one when Rob’s involved!! (unless I keep him all to my self! lol) And talk about getting used to names…could you please fix yours!?!?

      • dazzledbyrp

I don’t know how to change it. I think I was actually Dazzledbyrp first. – When I signed up on LTR, I didn’t realize that I was giving “Maggie” as my name forever and ever. I was much more computer challenged in those days. (Haven’t improved much though!)

        • robsfuturemate

IF you want to, you can change your name under my account, edit my profile but it is totes up to you of course! I know who you are either way 🙂

      • dazzledbyrp

I was just thinking – now that you’re a famous blogger, maybe Ellen will take notice!!!!

  9. newyorkkisses

I looooved WFE! I’ll always love him as Edward, but I’ve come to prefer seeing him in movies, in which he can play ‘real’ characters. That tan, sweat and dirt in WFE only made him that much hotter. 😉 I unfortunately only got to see it once at the cinema as it was an undubbed version showing (rule number 1: never dub the pretty’s voice!) and that wasn’t showing for long. But, it speaks for Rob’s acting talents that the three friends I dragged with me loved him in the movie and thought he was a great actor.
And OMG, who can actually pull of the clown costume and still look edible and adorkable but Rob?!
And don’t get me started on his expressions, I had tears in my eyes everytime he did, I never thought this movie would tug at your heartstrings that much…*sigh*. Can’t wait for it to come out on DVD and I’m hoping for a commentary by Rob on it.

  10. Be-still my beating vajayjay! Fantastic post Mate. Those gifs are just so damn HOT! *fans self & vajayjay* He was so perfect in WFE, I was so impressed with him & he looked phenomenal. *sigh*

Wow, this place is great. I’m going to miss RAoR like crazy, but it looks like this may be my new home. I see a lot of familial faces here. I don’t really post a lot, but it is so nice to be amongst those who get my Robsession. Tbank you Robsfan-tasy for a new place to play.
